About this work
Researching Poverty from the Bottom Up: Reflections on the Experience of the Programme for Research on Poverty Alleviation 1994-2002 was published by the Power and Participation Research Centre and Grameen Trust in 2007. I had been Program Officer at PRPA in 1999–2000, managing competitive poverty research grants funded by the Royal Netherlands Development Fund — so the volume is edited by someone who saw the programme from the inside.
What it covers
- Reflections on what the programme's eight years of poverty research produced.
- An overview chapter on the programme itself, pp. 15–42.
